Go Pro or Go Home

Happy belated new year everyone, I’m sure you’re all feeling as tired and as un-festive as I am today, so I thought it would be a good idea to introduce the two loves of my life to cheer you all up.

Introducing (ba ba da duhhh) Georgia. Me and Georgia have been together for 2 years and 359 days to be exact. 3 years on the 9th of January, we’re going to go and watch the Hateful Eight by Quentin Tarintino our favourite director. Anyway, me and Georgia met in the summer of 2011, outside the student shop at Bournemouth University. Both looking bright eyed and bushy tailed we were completely unaware of the torment the strain of a higher education puts on your mental state and your bank balance.

So we were looking at a ‘Dub Optic’ poster, a jungle event based in Bournemouth, a perfect opportunity to meet like minded people of whom you will most likely spend the next 3 years of weekends staying up until 7am with.

After around a year of texting and favouriting each others tweets, we finally went on a date. Well, I turnt up at her house drunk at 2am and watched Monsters Inc whilst complaining about how ill i felt, but besides that it was love at first sight. It wasn’t until 2 years later we decided to plan our trip away.

It wasn’t until a year after that we decided to take the leap and have a baby, well buy a baby..well buy a Go Pro. As you can see from the screen shot above, my brother Corban likes to make my life difficult and delayed my Go Pro from arriving for some time, but eventually we were united.

It’s the best thing we have done to prepare us for our travels, don’t listen to your mum’s advice of getting silly things like thermal socks or tick borne encephalitis vaccinations. Go Pros are awesome, and we cannot wait to use it to document our journey to the blogosphere.
